I recently read a blog post from one of my favorite financial websites that really struck home. I’ve been thinking about what my answers would be and it’s kind of depressing, to tell you the truth. I’m going to try actually tracking what my answers are rather than just taking a shot because I feel like these are some important metrics to know. It’s easy to fool yourself into feeling productive and it can be a bit harsh to realize the facts don’t support that conclusion. So: here’s the list that I am going to be focusing on for the next couple of weeks. I’ll let you know how I do.
10 Things About Yourself That Would Surprise You
- How much money do you spend each month?
- How long do you spend talking to your family each month?
- How much time have you spent working on the thing you say is your “passion” last month?
- How far do you walk every day?
- How much do you read NOT from a computer?
- How much time do you spend organizing your life (bills, etc)?
- How many calories do you eat per day?
- How much time do you actually work at work?
- How much time do you spend watching TV per month?
- Which of your goals did you accomplished last year?
Do any of your answers surprise you yet?
